“The Falkland Arms charms with its 16th-century roots and dog-friendly ethos; every room welcomes canine companions. I appreciate its position in the picturesque village of Great Tew, a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. The blend of a traditional pub experience, complete with award-winning ales, and comfortable hotel accommodations strikes a particularly appealing balance.”

The Falkland Arms offers a characterful and charming stay in the Cotswolds, perfect for exploring picturesque villages and enjoying local ales. Guests often praise the comfortable and well-equipped rooms, some describing them as quirky. The food receives high marks, especially the evening meals like the Confit Duck Leg, alongside excellent breakfast choices, including a full English with yoghurt and croissants; a few guests, however, have found the room size a little tight, but it's generally considered good value for money.
